How can you be so UNPOLITICAL?????

"- or what?

The world's gonna fall apart?
It won't matter.
Not one bit...
To the everyday lives of the
everyday fuckers, who get up
and work and eat and sleep.
Go back to work again."
#The Press lady,The Ides of March

Thats what most of us reply,when somebody asks us about your political stand.And i can bet on it,its not being cool,its being selfish,its being identityless.I know from where this attitude comes from,it comes from the very fact that your country's political history gives you the liberty to be careless about these things.Because you were'nt born in an era of war and racism."BCOZ YOU NEVER FACED IT".

You want to know how does it matters.Ask the blacks of America.The jews of Germany.The hindus of Pakistan ,the muslims in India.Ask them what it takes to leave their job,friends ,family and migrate to an unknown land.Ask them how it was to see their own blood being slaughtered and raped.Ask the blacks how it was to be governed by seprate laws.Ask the Jew,the difficulties he faced,to escape those gas chambers.

The analogy is in the movie "Rang De Basanti".A bunch of happy and high college students,enjoying life as it came,they discussed changing the country,but concluded it was imposssible until one faithful day when the policies of their chosen govt. did plundered their life.The movie ended in a very vague manner.Killing the policymaker is'nt the right solution ,after all you yourself chose him to do so.We end up saying "Mera neta chor hai".But we never say "Mai Hatyaara hu".Yes you are.You are the murderer each time when you say,"kya fark padta hai",each time when you boast,"kuch nai badalne waala",you are the killer of democracy each time when you say "Mujhe POLITICS me interest nai".

But when the time comes and you go on the street protesting,you go on running to escape a dictator,you go on cursing politics and politicians,do remember that in the past you did'nt fulfil your duties and so in the present you have no right to complain.

Story Behind

Strange things come to your mind during exams.Its normal.
I was moving the cursor through my tweeter page and came across a familiar face.Right clicked and found another link to a blog.Read the blog and came to know the story behind the face.There was'nt anything fascinating or charming.Its only the curiosity in you.I would have loved to tell you the face ,but lets keep it a secret.Lets assume that its a she.Let me tell her story as i interpreted.She loves colours,she loves being loved,she loves to love,she is a big foodie,a nice narrator,she pictures life as a colourful dream,she hates politics,she loves chocolates,she smiles a lot,she is happy,she wants to travel the world,she wants to be free as a bird,she likes to imitate movie scenes in her life,she wants every thing to be perfectly planned i.e she definetly hates surprises,she has'nt seen the other side of life,she has'nt faced loss .
All these things she narrates so beautifully that you are compelled to believe them.Those flawless,continuos words,you want to keep on reading them.

Rain Rain ....Come again

Rain it pours, and its dancing in my soul now;
Rain it pours, and it drowns away my thoughts;
Rain it pours, and everything goes silent;
Rain it pours, and its dancing in my soul.

There is not always a romance associated with rain.There is not always a pleasure of  getting wet under it.There is not always the pleasent smell of earth that fascinates one to rains.Sometimes its just the pleasure of watching it sitting by the window.Sometimes its just that continuous sound of drizzle that makes you silent ,lost in your thoughts.

Sitting by a window, a child has wasted many of his exam prepatory leave, with a book in his hand and the rain dripping down to fill the pond across the window.He had that desprate wish for the exams to end so that he can float his paper boats made of tore of pages from lessons that were meant to be learnt.He had that strange desire to talk to the frogs who came once a year.But the exams are too long to end.The frogs are gone,the pond is mud,the boats can't float.

The story of SHARES..how simple they can be

We hear it Rozana..we live in one of the FASTEST GROWING ECONOMY of the world ..but how does that benifit us..THE COMMON MAN... let me show u the benefit..something that could be as easy as sixth grade mathematics
The share bazaar..when a lay man hears that word the first glimpse that comes to his mind is a news channel and the rush of parallel lines at its bottom...but i wish he could have known  what wonder this share market can do
Let us assume an average Indian guy who plans of investments upto 10,000 would generally go in a post office or a bank aiming to double the sum in something like seven years.But if he invests the same amount in the share market let me show you what can happen:
Let us aim at a daily profit of 0.5% on our investment i.e we aim to invest in a share of Rs 50 that would grow upto like 50.25 at the end of the day..which is'nt a big deal..or a share of 1600 that would grow up to 1608...calculating at this rate what we earn daily on our investment of 10000 is Rs 50..so at the end of the month you would have gained a sum of 1500 and at the end of the year something like 18000...your investment is still safe...and the worst part is that at the end of seven years we have like 1.25 lakhs and the investment
Now imagine and compare this with what an ordinary indian guy does..but is a daily profit of 0.5% so easy...no its not...i am no economics or commerce graduate(i am yet to touch any such books coz i dint study those subjects in school either) other than  i do have a regular glance at the newspapers...take an instance that happened yesterday...hero honda declared to give a 1750% dividend to its share holders...now i would definetly be intrested to invest in hero honda and assuming i did so...the share that was priced at 1600 in the morning grew upto 1697 at the end of the day...a profit worth 6% i.e 12 days of work done for me in a single day...there can be instances when the vice versa happens but then we have next 29 days of the month to cover it up..:)
As a factor of safety i would also like to state that though the sensex went 250 points down today still we had like 20 companies whose share went up by more than 0.5% http://www.bseindia.com/sensex/mktwatchR.aspx?filter=gainer*group$all$a
Now if even 1% of the indian population invests we could have $2.5 billion of investment in the share market and that would definetly boost up the economy.So instead of letting your money rot in the banks go for the share market and be a part of the INDIAN GROWTH..:)
